I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your PFAFF hobby lock 4870. Let's work together to try and fix the issue with the looper threader. Firstly, make sure that the machine is switched off and unplugged from the power source. This is important for safety reasons.

Next, take a look at the looper threader mechanism and see if there is any debris or thread caught in it that could be causing it to become stuck. Use a small brush or a pair of tweezers to gently remove any obstructions.

If the looper threader is still locked, try gently tapping it with a light object, such as a small mallet or the handle of a screwdriver. This may dislodge any parts that have become jammed.

Finally, if none of these steps work, consider taking your machine to a professional sewing machine repair shop for a more thorough inspection and repair.

I hope this is helpful? PLEASE "ACCEPT" and mark it "HELPFUL" to complement my little effort. Hope to bring you more detailed answers.
