Dial Up Connection

I bought a new computer. The business did not set up the computer for dial-up connection. I called people pc. they helped me get online. I tried again and now I can't get on line. I know I need a phone # from people pc but I did not right it down. can u help me. I'm not at my computer I'm at work.
