PayPal act only as the payment processor; your recourse is with the merchant. If however you feel you were cheated, PayPal may get you a refund. Here's the quickest way to reach PayPal:
- Instead of phoning PayPal's 800 support number, go to this special page after logging in:
www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/helpscr?cmd=_contact-phone - Upon phoning the number on that page, do not try to respond intelligently to the robot, but instead say the word SPOOF, repeatedly if necessary.
