I Dont Want To Pay W My Bank.-use My Credit Card!

the only choice on the screen is the bank account. I don't want that, and when I try to "ADD CR CD" it tells me I already have 2 credit cards enrolled--but it won't let me select either one to pay for the item! I have called about this before it is a huge problem. I DONT WANT TO USE MY BANK ACCT! Why does PayPal keep forcing me to use my bank acct? I don't want to use PayPal at all if I cant pay the way I want to, using my CRcd.

This is one of the many problems with using PayPal.

As soon as you're logged in, look for "Payment Method" toward the bottom of the page. You'll probably see that you're set for "Instant Transfer," which you don't want—it means extraction from your bank account. You'll have to click "Change" or "Edit Source of Funds," further down on the page. But surprise! The next page, headed "Funding Options," may still be set to take your payment by Instant Transfer! To override, you must affirmatively choose "Credit/Debit Card." And that still may not be enough. The confirmation page will likely require you to bypass the highlighted choice ("Use My Bank Account"), and opt instead for "Use My Credit Card."

(PayPal changes its procedures from time to time, so by the time you read this, the above narrative may not precisely apply. Vary the procedure as may be necessary.)

If you have to, obtain phone help from PayPal as follows. This will get you help the fastest (still not fast, unfortunately):

Instead of phoning PayPal's 800 support number, go to this special page after logging in: www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/helpscr?cmd=_contact-phone.
Don't bother filling in any of the information requested. Just call the phone number presented (888-221-1161).
If the rep doesn't resolve the issue, ask for a supervisor.
