Guide Lines
Hello. I can't get the guide lines off in the record mode. It doesn't give me an "off" option in the record mode. The only option is vertical or horizontal. I don't want either when I'm recording. It's only an option in the "play mode" which i have set to off. How do I remove the guide lines in the record mode?Thank you,Jill

To get a better idea of what is being relayed below (some of the images don't get displayed correctly), download the User's Manual from here. Then, go to page 52 of the manual.
You can check if the image is level while recording or
playing back motion pictures and still pictures. The
function can also be used to estimate the balance of
the composition.
-- The guide lines do not appear on the images actually
recorded.
** Selecting the type of Guide line
-- Select the menu.
[RECORD SETUP] -> [GUIDE LINES] -> desired setting
** Displaying Guide lines at playback
-- Change the mode to >.
[VIDEO SETUP] -> [GUIDE LINES] -> desired setting
-- Set to [OFF] to cancel the guide line.
