Sound Problem

I HAVE A PANASONIC SC-PTX50 DVD HOME THEATER SOUND SYSTEM, AND THE DIALOGUE IS HARD TO HEAR ON FILMS ETC COULD YOU PLEASE ADVISE ON HOW TO RECTIFY THIS PROBLEM
