Remote Not Working Fully
i can't turn on the system but i can control the volume on the tv and turn my tv on and off and change the input

This usually means that there are issues with pads on the remote. First try new batteries. (I assume that's a yes). Then check that all the buttons function on the front panel. The other option is to dis-assemble the remote and clean the panel with alcohol and re-assemble. This sometimes works. If it is definitely a faulty remote then replacement is your only option.
