Tv Went Dark Now It Will Not Show Picture. Its 4 Yrs Old Is It Bulb Chg Time?
My tv is 4 yrs and 5 mo old it just went dark suddenly and now it will not turn the picture on. The tv turns on (fan comes on) properly but no picture. I am guessing that bulb replacement time is here. Can you advise what price for cost to replace this item. Thanks

your TV has a 5 year warranty on the lamp. contact Panasonic to have a technician come out and replace it: http://shop.panasonic.com/support/?support=y (this TV has a non-customer replaceable lamp, it requires the optical engine removed and disassembled to get to it)
After it's fixed, I would consider selling it. After the warranty is up, you will likely not be able to get another LIFI lamp, so when it dies the set will be landfill. I asked the rep from Panasonic what will the customer do after the 5 year commitment for the lamp expires, and all he said was basically "we wash our hands from them and there will not be a replacement available".
