Screwdriver

What type of screwdriver do I need to remove the screws on the back of the hood? They are star type shape, but none of my screwdrivers worked. I need to replace my lightbulb.

Sounds like a Phillips. Perhaps your Phillips was too big or too small.

They are more likely to be Torx type and you can obtain kits of these bits at most hardware stores. However sometimes manufacturers fit what we call security screws which require special bits.
