Security Code Reset
I just bought a car from an auction and the battery was dead and now the screen needs a code can I reset this?

If the previous owner did not leave a note of the security code then you will need to contact Panasonic service I'm afraid. I have attached a link to your device and you will need to contact them in your country of residence for help. You will probably need your vehicle documents to prove ownership.

I also have a cn-nvd905u. I called panasonic and the treated me like a thief because I didnt buy it from a "authorized dealer". After running across a bunch of fake directions, I finally found the ones that work. the directions are:
you need to touch the screen right above and below the white box that says "input ID Code" in this order and I guarantee it will work.
Right up, left up, left down, left up, right up, left up
