Blocked Callers On A Nokia Lucia 635

why is it that although the I have blocked a caller on my phone they are still able to leave a voicemail message?..their call doesn't show up and my phone didn't ring,just a notification that I had a voicemail

you only blocked the call not to ring on your phone, to also block them from leaving voicemail messages you need to report the number. call your network service provider and report the number, they will block it from calling you and also from leaving voicemail messages and smss.

  1. While on the Start screen, swipe down from the top to reveal the "Action Center"
  2. Tap "All Settings"
  3. Scroll to and tap "call+SMS filter"
  4. Tap "Accept" and press the "Windows" key to go back to the start screen
  5. Tap the "Phone" icon
  6. Touch and hold the entry you wish to block
  7. Tap "Block number" > "OK"
  8. To unblock a number, tap the "Menu" icon
  9. Tap "Blocked calls" > "Blocked numbers"
  10. Tap and hold the number you wish to unblock
  11. Tap "Unblock"


NOTE: Blocking numbers will prevent them from connecting calls with your device, but this feature doesn't affect phone calls received via third party applications.
