Not Correct The Distance To Empty

The number displayed on your distance computer can be affected by many things.
  • Incorrect tire size
  • Incorrect tire pressure
  • Engine out of tune
  • Bad gas
  • A defective computer or any number of sensors.

The point here is that the only way to properly diagnose the issue is by having a qualified mechanic examine the vehicle. If you have a factory service manual and have the experience to diagnose this you could do it yourself. Heep in mind that this one system interacts with many others and there could be an issue in any one or more of those others systems.
