Base Model Sedan 2010 Nissan Versa Trunk Won't Open

My trunk has suddenly stopped working. I have no latch in the door or valet switch in the glove box. I have no button on my key as the entire car is manuel and limited to electrical bells and whistles. I also don't have the fancy seats that fold down. The only way to open this baby is with the key, which won't turn in the lock. Mechanics won't touch it and pop a lock won't either. Somebody please help.
