My Seat Is Stuck Close To The Steering Wheel In My 99 Maxima . How Do I Manually

how do I manually adjust my seat ? the motor went out and my seat is stuck all the way close to the steering wheel .

The motor may have failed, if you can hear the motor hum when you adjust it the drive gear must be broken. If the seat is moved to the extreme front position it could be off track. Try pushing the seat backward with force & then test the power seat again. If it will not re-engage or there's no motor noise then the motor will have to be replaced.
