Nikon Coolpix S9100 Will Not Turn On

"The camera may have been charged with an incorrect voltage charger ..." What makes you say this? Was the charger voltage higher than the recommended voltage?

I'm afraid that this forum cannot help you: If the battery was charged for a couple of hours and the symptoms remain you should go to the dealer or service because either the cam or the battery is defect.
