Why Does My Camera Not Turn On And Charges With The On Switch Glowing Green?
So I'm trying to charge my Nikon Coolpix S8000 with my AC adapter, but both the light near the lightning bolt symbol AND the on switch button turn green (the lightning bolt one flashes green) Plus, after leaving it on "charge" for a considerable amount of time, the camera doesn't turn on. Help?

I believe that there is a problem with the battery of your Nikon COOLPIX S8000. It is better to replace the battery with a brand new one to resolve this issue. You can buy compatible batteries for this camera online. These are the products links for your easy purchase.
