I Get Blurred Images All The Time When I Try To Take A Picture Of Kids. Please H

My kids have to very still for long time to get a good picture, else it is a blurred image. I can't pictures of birthday party without asking everybody to settle down and sit still for some time. Few of the pictures end up with red eyes.The whole reason for going to Nikon was for the ease and better pictures.
