How Do U Reset The Router

Most routers have two ways to reste them: a soft reset, and a hard reset. A soft reset is simply a power cycle. Just unplug it for ten seconds, then plug it back up.
A hard reset puts the router back in the state it came from the box when it was purchased.
WARNING: do this only if you are advised by a technician if all other options have failed. This method will erase any customized settings placed in the router, such as manual settings for internet providers, or port settings for applications.
To do a hard reset, look for a button that usually can be accessed with a paper clip. With the router plugged up, press and hold that button for 30 to 45 seconds. You should be restored to factory settings.
Alternative method if first method fails: unplug router from power cord. Locate button that usually can be accessed with a paper clip. Press and hold that button for 30 to 45 seconds. Power up the router. You should be restored to factory settings. Good luck.
