How Do I Ping My Netgear Wrg614v7 Router

On a Windows computer, go to the command prompt (at the search bar, type cmd) and type the following:

ping [router's IP address]

then press <ENTER>. If you don't know your router's IP address, try 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. If neither of those work, read this article for tips on finding out your router's IP address:
