Laptop Won't Connect To Router Wgr614v10 Winxp

Hi, there are many different things that could prevent your laptop from connecting to the router. Here are a few common reasons:

Your router might not support the same protocols your laptop uses. For example, if your laptop uses WEP encryption, you might not be able to connect it to this router.

The router might be preventing access to the network because of security settings. Make sure MAC filtering is off, and make sure the laptop has the correct encryption key entered and encryption protocol (WPA, WPS, etc.) selected.

The laptop and router might be on separate channels. Unless you have a specific reason not to, set both router and laptop to automatically choose a channel.
