1.Configure the Operating Mode of the WAG102 Wireless Access Points.
a02;WAG102 (AP1) on LAN Segment 1 in Repeater mode with the Child AP MAC Address of AP2.
a02;Configure WAG102 (AP2) in Repeater mode with MAC addresses of Parent AP MAC Address of AP1 and Child AP MAC Address of AP3.
a02;Configure the WAG102 (AP3) in Repeater mode with the Parent AP MAC Address of AP2.

1.Verify the following parameters for all access points:
a02;Verify that the LAN network configuration the WAG102 Wireless Access Points are configured to operate in the same LAN network address range as the LAN devices.
a02;All access points must be on the same LAN. That is, all the LAN IP addresses of the access points must be in the same network.
a02;If using DHCP, all WAG102 Wireless Access Points should be set to "Obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP Client)" in the IP Address Source portion of the Basic IP Settings menu.
a02;All WAG102 Wireless Access Points use the same SSID, Channel, authentication mode, if any, and encryption in use.
1.Verify connectivity across the LANs.
A computer on any LAN segment should be able to connect to the Internet or share files and printers with any other PCs or servers connected to any of the three WLAN segments.
1.Click Apply to save your settings.
Note: You can extend repeating by adding up to two additional WAG102s configured in repeater mode. However, since Repeater configurations communicate in half- duplex mode, the bandwidth decreases as you add Repeaters to the network. Also, you can extend the range of the wireless network with NETGEAR wireless antenna accessories
