Computer Error

I am being told that my "stop payment" did not go through and I was not alerted due to a computer error. Isn't NFCU responsible for this problem?

Navy Federal Should be responsible but no, they are not liable. They will tell you that mistakes can be made and they will refund you the $20 stop fee, but will not cover whatever it was you were trying to stop.
