What If Battery Won't Charge?

My T225 red light comes on and voice says battery medium.After being on charger for while says same and light is REDCan we get new batteries?

According to the manual:

Your battery is designed to last the life of your product. It should only be removed by a recycling facility. Any attempt to remove or replace your battery will damage your speakerphone.
