Mt 2000 Scanning
Hi There,
I have MT 2090 and I have no idea why I can't not scan anything. every time I scan something, it says" ERROR couldn't send the barcode data to the host"
With the scan inventory, I have no problems!
I have the cradle connected via USB and if I connect the scanner to the cradle, it is connected!
I dont have the wireless connected yet! I have no idea how to do it, I tried so many times but still not connected
I am not sure if the Bluetooth is connected to the cardle "I think it is because there is a bluetooth sign on the device"
what do I need to do? please help me with the basics steps..

Hi,
The MT2000 scanner is designed to operate as both a corded scanner (USB and RS232) and a cordless scanner (BT to the STB2078) or SPP directly to BT dongle.
I assume that you are running the "Scan Item" app which requires that you have a USB or RS232 cable directly attached or you are paired to a STB2078 (Bluetooth to USB/RS232/RS485/Keyboard Wedge). If you are connected directly or paired, you will hear "4 error" beeps followed by a message indicated a transmission error.

One configuration it comes in, is with the Charging, ActiveSync cradle. To use it as a keyboard wedge, you can either connect it directly with the provided cable, or get the blue tooth cradle.
To connect the WiFi using the Wireless Companion: in the Regulatory settings in the Options, UNCHECK the "Enable 802.11d" check box.
The Scan-To-IP application, which lets the wireless connection be used as a keyboard wedge, requires a host component, which can be found on the web.
