Greetings!

Bluetooth Devices has classes that categorizes them with a distance. There are 3 classes as per bluetooth standard.

Class 1 - which ranges about 100 meters

Class 2 - which ranges about 10 meters

Class 3 - which ranges about 1 meter

HK110 is a class 2 bluetooth headset, which means that if both devices (Class 2) are in the range of 10 meters they will stay connected.

The distance is dependent to the bluetooth that has the lowest class. let say you have a Class 1 Carkit BT device and a Class 1 Phone. You will be able to connect both devices in 100 meters. Now if your phone is a class 2, it will not have the 100 meter range even though the Carkit is Class 1.It will connect if the device are in 10 meter range.

Hope this helps!
