Why is my tumble dryer working but not heating up?

If your tumble dryer isn't heating up, it's likely that the heater may have tripped and needs to be reset. ... The condenser box at the bottom of the dryer can also get fluff trapped in it, so you should clear it out regularly by running it under a tap.

Why has my dryer stopped heating?

Common reasons for an electric or gas dryer not heating are a tripped circuit breaker, clogged vent, and no gas flow. Other potential reasons include a faulty thermal fuse and broken heating element. If you gather your tools and follow this guide, you may be able to solve basic dryer heating problems on your own.
