Miele Da5190w Hood Has Stopped Working

My Miele DA5190 hood is not going on- fan nor lights. Recently the electric company has been doing some work on my street and there was a time last week where I has power go out in some rooms in the house but was restored within a couple of hours. They are still doing work, but I have not experienced any futher outages. A few days later I was cooking and turned on the hood but but no response. I checked the circuit breakers - all On - and all other kitchen appliances are functional. I ran the power from the hood to a outlet I knew was working and the hood still did not go on. Any suggestions? Would a p
