Since it is not clear to me what exactly you want to achieve, here are some options.
- You want to see all computers in your network?
Add the Network shortcut on your desktop- Open up the control panel (Start > Control Panel)
- Select Personalize
- In the left sidebar, select Change Desktop Icons
- In the dialoge, select the checkbox next to Network and click OK
- You want to see all added network drives
Add the Computer shortcut to your desktop (see point 1 for the steps on how to do this).
In the Computer dialogue, the following is listed- Hard Disk Drives
- Devices with Removable Storage
- Network locations (these are added network drives)
- You want to be able to quickly access your favourite network location
Use Favorites- Open e.g. Computer in Windows explorer
- Open the map C:\Users\<yourUsername>\Links (this might be on another location, in case you changed it)
- Add a shortcut to this network share in this directory
- When you open any explorer window (works even in save as or open dialogs), you will find your network location listed in the Favorites section on top of the left sidebar.
