2008 Mercury Milan Acceleration Issues

Are there complaints about uncontrollable acceleration? Accelerated on highway entrance ramp and once on another low speed highway(55mph) to pass another car on different occasions. The car sped up and was out of control. Slowed it down by tapping on brake and then it stalled, had to shift back into drive for normal speed. It also felt like the gears were slipping when it slowed down. Please also respond if there any recalls.
