Transmission Filter Location 2008 Milan 2.3

Is the transmission filter located in the pan on a 2008 milian 5 speed automatic 2.3. I have been told that you cant access it by droping the pan. Is this true?

Transmission filter is inside the trans pan, but pretty hard because the subframe is in the way ot to work your way around it
