Where Is The Heat/air Conditioner Filter Located

Need to replace the heat/air filter in the 2010 Mercury Milan and where is it located.  It smells terrible when the air conditioner is on!!

If your vehicle has one, it will be behind the glove box. You just open the glove box door, push in on the sides of the glove box and it will drop out. Look inside the glove box opening for the filter. Not all Milan's have a cabin air filter, but if the air smells bad, I'll bet you have one with mildew on it. 

I tried to upload a photo of the filter, but it didn't work. It just looks like any rectagular air filter. It's very thin as well.
