Referring to the Owners Manual or the decal on the radiator cover in the engine compartment, Ford seems to have settled on the following:

2.5l 4 cyl, Vulcan 3.0l 12v and Flex Fuel engines: .042-.046
3.8l and Duratec 24v DOHC engine: .052-.056
