Air Conditioner Will Not Always Cool.
My 2005 Grand Marquis air conditioner is not cooling correctly. It will cool some and then be warm air.I checked the level of Freon and it was low, so I put 1 1/2 bottles in, then drove car. It started making a noise in the box mounted on the front wall, every so often. When I stopped the car, it looked like it was smoking, I raised the hood and the box was dripping something and instead of smoke, it was steam I was seeing. Also, there was a smell on the inside of car.What could this be?
