Mercury Cougar Won't Start
Ok guys I need some help. I have a 01 mercury cougar that won't start. Putting the key in allows all the lights inside to come on like normal but trying to start the car results in absolutely nothing , it doesn't even try to crank over. The key was recently broken off inside the ignition, but the car still worked and drove fine up until a few nights ago. I also know that all the fuses and relay fuses are good and in working condition. If you guys can help me out it'll be greatly appreciated.

Check the fuel pump inertia switch in the trunk, make sure it is functioning properly and no open circuit. Check for an ignition coil trigger signal at the coil connector while cranking engine, if no signal then it could be an ignition module or distributor stator, getting the codes should tell you that.
