Location Of Starter On A 2001 Mercury Cougar

I'd like to know where the starter is on a 2001 Mercury Cougar.  The car won't start, the battery holds a charge, when I turn the key I get one click and then nothing.  I'm thinking it's the solenoid or starter, but I don't know what either looks like or where it is!
