Purchased Mcafee Total Protection 2011, It Will Not Install

McAfee Total Protection 2011 will not install on either of my laptops, one from the website and one with the DVD, neither will go in?/??...I have been reading some very poor reviews...can you give me a relatively simple answer to my problem, if not I will return...

Update your Windows and make sure you have SP3 installed and install Internet Explorer 8. Hopefully, you will install Mcafee Total Protection 2011 on your PC.

DO NOT INSTALL RETURN...within 24 hours my pc was infiltrated with trojan and viruses....tech support AWFUL wanted 139.95 just to diagnose...they have no tech support, only third party....i rarely use pc. went on line to pay bills.....microsoft took 6 hours tech support with three different techs to revive me...AVG free version great, hitman and malware where what microsoft used. customer service...OUTSTANDING with their online support.............COST ZERO>>>>>>>NOOOOOOOOOOO Points
