Hot And Warm Water Setting Is Shutting Off Water

washer is maytag centennial i installed a new water heater last week. we noticed that now the hot and warm shuts off on washeer ater it runs for a half a min or so...i think it might be that the setting on the new water heater is to hot but not sure
