Display Blinks

When I set my cycle and press start click then another chick and display starts blinking no error code just blinks I open close try again usually about 10 times it finally starts the cycle however sometimes a cycle doesn't finish I go in and find it blinking maytag performance series font load model number mhwe300vf00
