After Magic Jack Is Installation On Pc Telephone Line Is Not Making Calls.

Magic Jack phone number 818 627-1301 for Avi Peretz, email [email protected]. Problem with this phone, it has a dial tone but will not connect to receive calls or send calls. Magic Jack plug in unit (white box for phone line & USB port directly to PC) are connected. At control panel, Windows Firewall "Exception" tab shows magicJackSplash and mjsetup checked off. Further exception tab "Add Program" button browse to C drive Application Data " (C:\ProgramFiles\MozillaFirefox\firefox.exe) shows file a0000 and this file lists majicJackSplash file and mjsetup file. This Magic Jack system was originally running on a laptop pc here in office, yesterday moved it over to my pc desktop pc and since unable to receive calls or make calls from this phone . HELP! contact as soon as you can to assist with this problem. Avi Peretz My Computer shows PC drives for Magic Jack (N:) and Magic Jack (O:)

Does your magicJack softphone read "Ready to Call"?

If YES:

On your magicJack softphone:
Click "Menu"
Select "Volume/Headset Control"
Choose and "Check Off" Your Device:

"Telephone" OR "Headset/Other"

If that does not work:

Unplug your telephone from your magicJack BUT leave your magicJack connected to the computer.
Place a test call using the magicJack softphone.
If the call goes through, please try using a different phone with your magicJack.

If your magicJack softphone does not read "Ready to Call" please contact our online live chat.
