I take it you're saying that callers from your area code are having to pay more than they would if you did not have magicJack. magicJack does not in its promotional material indicate that this would be the case. If it is, you may want to return the device. You can also complain to the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221. To cancel/return:

If you bought it at a retailer, return the device to the retailer with your original packaging and receipt.

Otherwise, you must return it within 30 days with the RMA email or RMA Bar Code enclosed.

• Before returning equipment you must obtain a valid RMA number by visiting: http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html
• All returned equipment must be in the original packaging with the UPC or bar code intact.
• All components must be included.
