- if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
- if it's not running,
- if it's not secured in the USB port,
- if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
- if you're not connected to the Internet,
- if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,
- or if your magicJack device is defective.
If the device is not defective, these simple actions may resolve the problem. Or you may try these instructions.
If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221.

1- Connect the Magicjack into the computer USB
2 - Run the Magicjack upgrade using below link
http://upgrades.magicjack.com/upgrade/magicJackSetup.exe
3 - If the problem not resolved then you will need to check your license with the Magicjack
You can check that by login to my.magicjack.com
4- You can request for the replacement of your device via the tech chat support of Magicjack.
