Snowy Picture

We get the sound o.k. The channel is set to 2. We have no remote. I have tried to manually set to 3 and cannot do so. What is the sequence? I have even looked on the on line manual, with no success. This has happened before. It also goes to Aux, which is good...I just don't think the channel is in snych. I go to the add/delete...and can do nothing there...
