Power Light Is Blinking.

Power light is blinking, but not solid on, like usual. There is no picture.  It was working properly when I went to the market for a half hour.  I am not able to turn the light off.  I unplugged the ower cable, bur there was no change.  Do you have any suggestions?

Open up the TV, get to the main boards on the inside of the TV once open you will see two boards the board on the left is the board you want to mess with (w/o metal plate cover) look up capacitor 2074 remove it saudering tools are necessary replace that with a new capacitor (2200uf 35V) you can get it at Radio Shack for $4.50 It is slightly bigger than the one you took out so you just have to make it so that it fits make sure that you line up the negatives with the negs and the positive with the positive there are arrows on the capacitor to show you witch side is the neg side. Install sauder it up put all the screws back and that TV will be on i just fixed my a couple of days ago
