No Power
hello, I have the Magellan road mate 1400 and it won't power on. Any suggestions

If you hold the power button down for 15 seconds, does it reset? Update the device software by going to link below http://www.magellangps.com/Support?supportID=802 Plug the device into the Computer and run the updates on it. If this does not help then next thing is to try to reset it. 1. Try to Power On the device. 2. Press the reset button (located on side) and keep it pressed for 1 minute 3. Turn off device and press same reset button for 1 minute 4. Now turn on the device and see if its working fine. If the device still doesn't work than you need to send it to Magellan for repair if its in warranty. If out of warranty please take a quote first as buying new can be cheaper than repairing it.
