Srm 150 Up And Quit.

My units produce a clicking noise when on, and volume turned up. No other sound. One quit last year, the other two days ago. Had them, worked fine for about 4-5yrs. Just the clicking sound once the volume pot is turned up to about 10 O'clock position and produces same clicking noise, into the speaker when turned down. ??? diode ? chip ?
