How Can I Obtain A Confirmation Of No Refund Of A Cancelation?

I'm a miles & more traveler. I bought a ticket to fly from Strasbourg to Athens on January 1st 2013 and a cancellation insurance. Due to medical reasons I had to cancel the flight and I obtained a cancellation confirmation from Lufthansa. Now the Insurance Company SEGUROS (a company that is behind the "click" in Luftahansa's reservation site) ask for a Confirmation from Lufthansa that " there has been no refund for the cancelation". I would like to obtain such a conformation by mail. Thanks

First, do you have a copy of the ticket you purchased? The rules and restrictions of the fare should have been printed on your ticket receipt. If your ticket was nonrefundable, it would have said as such.

If you're unable to find the ticket copy or the restrictions for your ticket, contact the airline and ask them to provide you with documentation stating the rules of the fare for your insurance company. They should certainly comply.

Last, but not least, if you are a mileage member with Lufthansa and they are making this difficult for you, contact their member department and explain your situation. You could also contact customer relations if none of these are successful.
