Purchased Lowe's Appliance Warranty

how long does it take to get sales repeipt so i can file a claim? i have the exact date of purchase, brand, model, seriel number etc. been trying to get this information since 23 november. in this age of technology i can't understand why it should take 14 days for someone to punch in the numbers and produce my sales receipt then send me an e-mail with information attached!! don't know who lowe's sub contracted their warranties to but they are rude and of little help unless you have all information they require which you don't find out until you have to call them.
