M705 Mouse Erratic When Used For Drag And Drop.
Tried corded mouse and no problem. Replaced batteries - made no difference. Seems something unique to my M705 mouse. Seems only to falter with several files I try to drag and drop. It eventually works but only say 1 time out of 5-6. ??? Help please

Hello, here are some things to try:
- Clean the underside of the mouse with a dry lint-free rag to get rid of any dirt or build-up blocking the sensor
- Try using the mouse on a different surface; if you are not using a mousepad, try using one
- Update the mouse's driver or, if an update is not available, reload the current version driver
