Truck Stuck On Park.
My truck is stuck on park and I cant get the shifter to any other gear besides when I override it. I was told it was the neutral safety switch so I bought the part. When I got home to locate the part in my truck IO can find it anywhere. Ive checked under my steering colum and didnt see it. I was told also that it was in my middle console under the shifter. After taking the whole console apart I still did not find it. Can anyone help me locate the neutral safety switch on my truck please?

It isn't the neutral safety switch that is preventing you from shifting out of park. All the neutral safety switch does is to prevent you from starting the vehicle in gear.
You probably have a bad shift interlock solenoid. That is the clicking sound you hear when you step on the brake to try and put it into gear. It is connected to the shifter, so you will have to disassemble the shifter to replace it.
