Sw 470 Liftmaster

I have 2 liftmaster sw 470s. I suspect lightning hit them although there was no visible damages to the boards. I replaced the board in the master side. It works fine independent of the slave unit. The slave was giving 6 blink code. installed the jumper back to make it a master independent of the other unit and it works fine. Change it to the slave and reconnect the talk wires in between it then flashes 6 times. I checked the continuity in the wires between the units and its fine. ?? any ideas??
